During the last 20 years JMU has been a top 25 team most seasons, appearing in NCAA tournament 8 out of the last 15 years. In 1994 and 1995 the Dukes reached the elite eight quarterfinals. Numerous Dukes have received All-American honors both on the field and in the classroom, with many going on to the professional ranks. In 1995 JMU's new soccer facilities were completed, resulting in one of the finest facilities in the region. JMU hosted CAA and NCAA tournament contests in recent years.

Camp staff will consist of highly successful college and high school coaches who have strong coaching and teaching backgrounds. Many have achieved All-American status during their playing careers and have played professionally. Most have a coaching license from either the USSF, NSCAA or FIFA. JMU players will be working as camp counselors during both sessions of the camp.
